The Dark Knight Rises Christopher Nolan’s “The Dark Knight Rises”, his third and final Batman movie, will be released in 2012! It definitely looks like Nolan, is taking a little cue from Nolan’s “Inception” combined with the little chaos that is the “Batman” franchise. In “Rises”, Batman finds himself a hunted man in the aftermath of “The Dark Knight”. Other than that, not much is known. Though Catwoman, Bane, and possibly some old friends are rumored to resurface for this third outing. The film will star Christian Bale, Michael Caine, Gary Oldman, Morgan Freeman, Tom Hardy, Anne Hathaway, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Marion Cotillard, Juno Temple, Josh Pence, and Nestor Carbonell. The super-blockbuster is slated to arrive in cinemas and in Lido IMAX somewhere July 2012. Stay Tuned.. Superman: Man of Steel Almost nothing is known about the plot to director Zack Snyder's Superman franchise reboot, Man of Steel. The director has said that his take on DC Comics' most famous superhero will be "different" than previous movies and that it will "focus on the early days of Superman," but that's not much to go on. We do know that Kryptonian madman General Zod (played by Michael Shannon) will appear in the movie, but even that is not necessarily a clue as to what obstacles Superman (Henry Cavill) will face. After all, when Zod first appeared on screen in Richard Donner's Superman, it was only in a cameo role. But, thanks to actress Diane Lane, who will play Superman's adoptive mother, Martha Kent, we now know that Man of Steel will definitely be an origin story going back to when Superman was a Superbaby.Man of Steel was written by David S. Goyer (The Dark Knight) from a story idea conceived by Goyer and producer Christopher Nolan. The cast also includes Amy Adams as Lois Lane and Kevin Costner as Martha's husband, Jonathan Kent. According to Snyder, the movie will be going into production "at the end of the summer." A December 2012 release date is planned. Casting began the following November. Henry Cavill has been cast as Superman, making him the first non-American actor to be cast in the role. Amy Adams will portray Lois Lane, while Diane Lane has been cast as Martha Kent. Further casting includes Kevin Costner as Jonathan Kent, Michael Shannon, who will take on the role of the villain, General Zod, and Russel Crowe as Superman's Kryptonian father, Jor-El. German actress Antje Traue has been cast to play the villainess Faora. Filming will commence at Vancouver Film Studios, and the film, reportedly titled Superman: Man of Steel, will be released in theaters in December 2012, which also includes Lido IMAX! More from the set of The Dark Knight & Superman: Man Of Steel to come as we near its 2012 release!
